Privacy Policy

Respect for your information.

Last updated: August 4, 2026

StructIQ Advisory Services Inc. ("StructIQ," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and recognizes the importance of protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we may collect when you visit this website, contact us, or request a consultation; how that information may be used and disclosed; and the choices available to you.

StructIQ operates primarily as a business-to-business advisory firm. Even in that context, information about an identifiable individual is handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy requirements.

Information we may collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, title, organization, business email address, telephone number, scheduling preferences, and the contents of an inquiry or consultation request. If you engage StructIQ, additional information will be governed by the applicable engagement terms and professional obligations.

The website and its service providers may also process limited technical information required to deliver and protect the site, such as browser type, device information, IP address, access time, referring page, and security or server-log data. Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, or privileged information through an initial website inquiry unless StructIQ has agreed to receive it.

How we use information

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, schedule and prepare for discussions, assess whether StructIQ can assist, provide requested services, administer business relationships, maintain appropriate records, improve and secure the website, and meet legal, regulatory, professional, insurance, or contractual obligations.

StructIQ does not sell or rent personal information. We do not use inquiry information for unrelated purposes without consent or another lawful basis.

Consent and your communications

By voluntarily providing information, you consent to its collection, use, and disclosure for the purposes described at the time of collection and in this policy. You may withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis for processing, subject to legal, contractual, and professional restrictions. Withdrawal may limit our ability to respond to an inquiry or provide services.

Service providers and disclosure

StructIQ may use service providers for website hosting, security, email, document management, scheduling, and other professional operations. These providers may process information only as needed to deliver their services and are expected to protect it appropriately. Information may also be disclosed with your consent, to professional advisers, in connection with a business reorganization, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Some providers may process or store information outside Ontario or Canada. In those circumstances, information may be subject to the laws and lawful-access requirements of the jurisdiction where it is processed.

Website technologies and external links

The site may use essential technologies and server logs needed for functionality, security, and performance. Links to Microsoft Bookings and other third-party services are provided for convenience. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices, which StructIQ does not control.

When you use a Microsoft Bookings link, information you choose to submit is processed through Microsoft's service and made available to StructIQ for scheduling and responding to your request. Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, financial or unnecessary personal information through the booking form.

Safeguards

StructIQ uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and users should exercise care when deciding what to submit electronically.

Retention

Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected and for applicable legal, contractual, insurance, and professional record-keeping requirements. Information that is no longer required is securely destroyed, deleted, or anonymized, as appropriate.

Access, correction, and questions

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information held by StructIQ, subject to applicable exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also ask how your information has been used or disclosed and raise a concern about our privacy practices.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated as StructIQ's practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date shown above identifies the current website version.
